Our strong relationship with cardiothoracic surgeons around the globe brought us naturally in contact with Dr William F. Northrup III who developed a Universal Annuloplasty system.

Péters Surgical and Dr Northrup worked together with the common purpose to bring a new solution for MVR.

Uniring® is a unique concept that brings together a complete set with 9 double sided sizers (mitral and tricuspid), 2 handles and a ring fixed on an exclusive template to stabilize the ring during suturing.

Dr William F. Northrup III, M.D, is a cardiac surgeon who is now the Vice President of Cryolife Inc for Medical Relations and Education.

His personal experience with mitral valve repair over the last 21 years shows a personal repair rate with repairable valves of over 95%.

He has been involved for many years in valve surgery and has actively participated in different editions of the Heart Valve Club and attended other international meetings as a moderator.
